• Photos and PDFs: When you upload a flyer or event photo, we temporarily process it to extract event details using AI. Your images are processed securely and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Google Calendar Access: If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we request permission to create, modify, and delete events on calendars you own. We only use this to add events you explicitly request us to add.
• Basic Usage Data: We may collect basic information about how you use Flyer to help us improve the service, such as which features are most popular.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Extract event details from your uploaded photos using AI technology
• Add events to your Google Calendar when you request it
• Improve our service and fix issues
• Keep Flyer secure and prevent abuse

We never sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

Google Calendar Permissions

When you connect your Google Calendar, we only ask for the minimum permissions needed: the ability to see, create, change, and delete events on calendars you own. We use this permission solely to add events that you specifically request us to add to your calendar.

You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time using the "Disconnect" button in Flyer. When you disconnect, we remove your stored credentials and can no longer access your calendar.

Data Storage and Security

Your uploaded photos are processed and then deleted from our servers. We don't keep copies of your images after processing is complete.

Google Calendar credentials are stored securely in your browser's local storage. These credentials are only used to add events when you request it and are never shared with anyone.

Third-Party Services

Flyer uses Google services (Google Calendar API and Google Gemini AI) to provide functionality. When you use these features, Google's privacy policies also apply. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Disconnect your Google Calendar at any time
• Stop using Flyer at any time
• Request information about what data we have (though we store minimal data)

Children's Privacy

Flyer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
